Born in 1994 in Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus, Dr. Sevdiye Umer began her academic journey with outstanding success at Güzelyurt Turkish Maarif College, graduating as the top of her class. Her passion for education and dedication led her to graduate with high honors from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2017.
To deepen her expertise in dentistry and elevate her professional knowledge, Dr. Umer completed her doctorate in Restorative Dental Treatment at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2023. During this period, she focused particularly on Micro-Computed Tomography technology, contributing to the development of innovative methods in dentistry.
Alongside her academic pursuits, she actively worked at Istanbul University’s 3D Medical and Industrial Design Laboratory. There, she not only conducted research but also shared her knowledge and experience by providing Micro Tomography training to dental students, shaping the future of dentistry. Dr. Umer has authored numerous scientific publications and presented at international conferences, merging her scientific work with clinical practice to deliver patient-centered and innovative solutions.
